Important Update for Indianapolis Post Office Credit Union Members
Dear Valued Member,
For nearly 100 years, the Board and staff of Indianapolis Post Office Credit Union has been honored to serve post office and federal employees and their families. We are writing to inform you of a significant development concerning your credit union.
Indianapolis Post Office Credit Union has made the strategic decision to merge with Financial Center First Credit Union. Financial Center is a highly regarded and financially strong credit union with a long history of serving its members, whose roots were tied closely with ours in military and federal service before they became a community-based organization. We made this decision because we believe becoming part of Financial Center will provide our members with significant benefits, including enhanced products and services, increased financial stability, and access to broader resources including nine Central Indiana locations and state-of-the-art digital banking.
The merger is subject to regulatory approval and a vote by our membership. We will provide you with updates as the process progresses and ensure you have all the information needed to make an informed decision. In the meantime, there will be no immediate changes to member services. You can continue using your accounts, debit cards, and other services as you normally would. Any future changes or enhancements will be communicated well in advance.
We understand that this news may raise questions, and we are committed to keeping you informed every step of the way. If you have any concerns or need additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us at (317) 262-1870.
Thank you for your continued trust and support. We remain dedicated to serving you and ensuring the best possible financial future for all our members.
Sincerely,
Board of Directors
